THIS weeks paper brings you all the results and updates across the Borough to keep you up to date on the going ons in your local clubs.

Starting from the back, Coleraine FC travel to Meadow park tonight to play Moyola Park in the next round of the Bet McLean Cup Quarter-Final, in a fixture that boss Ruaidhri Higgins says "we certainly won't be taking them lightly".  A familiar face at Coleraine FC may be linked with a return to the dugouts, but in the Ballymena Showgrounds. Jim Ervine parted with Ballymena on Saturday after their 3-1 defeat to Glenavon FC. In youth football, Portrush's 2013 team were successful on the international stage as they won the Barcelona Cup.

Football

Thankfully for Coleraine fans, it's back to winning ways after the Bannsiders defeated Crusaders over the weekend with a clear cut victory at Seaview. Two goals was enough to secure the points after Jamie Glackin and Jamie Mc Gonigle were able to get Coleraine across the line. Limavady United continued their campaign for promotion after picking up another victory - a 4-2 victory at home over Ballinamallard. Saturday marked the end of their time at Limavady Showgrounds (for the time being) as they begin to groundshare with Coleraine until mid March while they begin the process to lay a 3G pitch.

There has been a buzz around Portstewart FC in the last week, John gregg has taken the reins at the club after being appointed as the first team managers, Colin McAleese also comes to Portstewart in a 'Non-Executive Commercial Director' as a member of the board. The Sehawks also drew 0-0 against Moyola on Saturday, which to their credit, still is a positive result against League leaders Moyola. But the news in the port didn't stop there, late Saturday night it was announced that David McDaid from Glenavon FC makes the move to Portstewart FC to join the coaching staff and also, as a registered player.

GAA

Slaughtniel cruised to their sixth hurling titles in nine long years after defeating St John's after a convincing 13 point win, pushing the Derry kingpins into joint fourth place with Ballycastle on the Ulster roll of honour. Glenullin remain determined to land a Ulster title in their centenary year, during a press event in their club's HQ, there was a 'calm confidence' among players and supporters. Newbridge were edged out by Scotstown in the Ulster SFC Semi-Final stage after Scotstown won 4-2 on penalties.

Turkeys were up for grabs at Portstewart GC and a 33 pointer from Kenny Swan say him take the bird home after finishing the front nine with 20 points and added a steady five over par in the final six holes. Another 33 pointer courtesy of Paul Rohdich picked up his turkey at Rathmore. Over in Castlerock, John Iwrin came out the victor after he carded 29 points over the 13 holes at at the Mussenden course.

Hockey

The honours were even as Coleraine drew a 1-1 stalemate against Randalstown in a close Senior 1 contest. Randalstown started brightly but the Coleraine defence thwarted their efforts - but they went on to take the lead first before Coleraine came back after a Kia McCartney equaliser. The 2's suffered a harsh 5-1 score line against Randalstown at the Antrim Forum, the Coleraine girls were tight on numbers but, on a positive note, the rejigged Coleraine team did start brightly. The 3's too were unsuccessful in their bid for victory against Armagh after a 3-1 defeat.

The North West 200 generated £24M of economic benefit this year according to to The Economic & Tourism Report that was carried out by Professional Event Solutions.
