RUAIDHRI Higgins highlighted how there was a determination within the squad to right the wrongs of last weekend’s defeat at Bangor…
A week on from that 2-1 loss, the Bannsiders have picked up two wins in two different competitions as Dollingstown and then Ballymena United were put to the sword yesterday afternoon.
Higgins stated how the squad were solely focussed on responding to the setback at Bangor and how the goals scored in the derby win at Ballymena were top class.
The Sky Blues made the scoreline 3-1 after goals from Will Patching and a brace from Matthew Shevlin and Higgins was pleased there were no further scares – although he did acknowledge they will be sweating on the fitness of Patching and Rowan McDonald who had to be substituted.
