IN five short days time Coleraine's Matty Boreland steps into the ring with the Superbantamweight Title on the line in a ten rounder against Irish Champion Ruadhran Farrell.

What started from social media jabs earlier in the year, the fight brew over at Solitude following a face-off that turned physical, bringing more eyes to this weekend's bout.

The fight takes place at Windsor on the Crocker vs Donovan card, and the Coleraine boxer hopes to put on a show and claim his first professional title in his sixth pro contest.

Speaking to the Coleraine Chronicle, Boreland said: “This is probably the best camp that I’ve ever had - training wise, weight wise, everything is on point and I’m in the the best shape of my life.

"I won’t take anything away from him because I think he is a really good fighter - but I’m just better.”
