THE Rotary Club of Limavady is organising a rotary bicycle ride for prostate cancer this Sunday (October 12) at 10am.
This topic has been in the news recently particularly with Sir Chris Hoy announcing last year that he is suffering from Stage 4 terminal prostate cancer.
This is a very easy to identify disease but still so many men suffer from it despite being as young as Sir Chris Hoy.
Spokesperson Peter Jack said: “You will be assured of a warm welcome and the bike ride will simply be one or two laps of the bridges in Limavady with left hand turns, it's not a race!

OPPORTUNITY

“It is an opportunity for people to raise a few quid for Prostate Cancer and enjoy a sociable nice and easy Sunday morning bike ride.”
Registration will take place from 9.30am, beginning at 10am at Swann’s Bridge.
There are both 10 and 20 mile routes available, with the course consisting of all safe left-hand turns.
Helmets are compulsory.
For further details contact Peter Jack on 07795288589.
