Over 50 firefighters attend Coleraine fire

It's believed that more than 50 firefighters attended the site of an agricultural fire outside Coleraine on Tuesday night.

Six fire appliances were sent to the scene at Kilmaconnell Road near Castleroe around 8pm.

The NI Fire and Rescue Service said 51 firefighters were in attendance, supported by a command support unit and other specialist vehicles.

Local residents were advised to keep windows and doors closed and the public asked to avoid the area.
