BEACH goers were no doubt intrigued when a series of mysterious concentric circles suddenly appeared on Portrush’s East Strand.
But the astonishing sight wasn’t some mysterious phenomena.
Instead, it was the result of a project ‘One Planet - One Race’ initiated by Building Communities Resource Centre (BCRC).
The charity is based in Ballymoney but operates throughout the Causeway Coast and Glens area.
Pupils from Portrush Primary School and St. Patrick’s Primary School, Portrush, came together for a special sand art event promoting unity, peace and collaboration.
The children worked side by side to create a striking visual display on the sand, symbolising friendship and togetherness between the two schools.
