CHARITY walkers in Portrush have raised over £214,000 for Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI.
Back for its 37th time, this year's Christmas Walk held on Friday, December 27, raised a total of £4,572.
And that goes on top of more than £210,000 raised so far by the Giffin family in memory of their daughter and sister Lynda who passed away after being diagnosed with Leukaemia.
The first walk was held 37 years ago and since then has become a highlight of the festive calendar for many.
The six mile walk round Ramore Head and along the coast to Whiterocks beach provides a perfect opportunity to walk off the excesses of Christmas whilst enjoying the beauty of the North Coast.
All the money raised at the walk will benefit local charity Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI who fund research into blood cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and related conditions.
