Exclusive - trader warns of town centre ‘tipping point’

A TRADER has warned of a “tipping point” if shoppers can’t be lured back to Coleraine high street from the out of town retail park.
Samuel Moore, who owns S&T Moore on Railway Road, said free parking at Coleraine’s Riverside shopping complex had added to the challenges faced by town centre shopkeepers during the vital Christmas and New Year period.
Some high street businesses have said footfall figures were disappointing during what should have been their busiest trading time.
