Hannah Scott 'proud' to be awarded MBE

Coleraine's Olympic gold medal winning rower Hannah Scott says she is proud and delighted to have been awarded an MBE in the King's New Year Honours List.

Scott, part of the Team GB's quadruple scull crew which won a dramatic Olympic final in Paris in the summer, is among a number of sportswomen to receive honours.

"I wasn't expecting to be recognised but the fact I have been is a great way to close out 2024," Hannah told BBC NI.
