New Year's Day Dip for Diabetes in Castlerock

The New Year’s Day Dip for Diabetes will be taking place for its 4th year in 2025 in Castlerock.

"There’s no better way to begin the New Year than having a dip in the Atlantic Ocean so join us in turning blue for diabetes," commented a spokesperson.

"All we ask is for a registration fee of £12.50 per adult (and only £5 per child) and you’ll receive a woolly hat and medal. Feel free to wear your Diabetes UK T-shirt from last year and we’ll really turn the ocean blue!

"There are almost 115,000 people living with diabetes in Northern Ireland and this number is set to continue to rise.

"Let’s make this the biggest and best Dip for Diabetes yet with all proceeds going to research projects based in NI which are pushing for the next treatment breakthrough and speeding up progress towards a cure."

The Coleraine Diabetes UK Northern Ireland Support Group is open to all those in the area affected by diabetes, whether living with the condition themselves or living with someone who has it.
