Freedom of the Borough for health care workers

The council is to award Freedom of the Borough to health and care workers for their service during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Elected members voted unanimously in favour of a motion tabled by the DUP's John McAuley tonight (Wednesday).

“In conferring the Freedom of the Borough we reiterate our heartfelt gratitude to each and every member of staff for their service to our well-being,” he said.
