‘Hotel on course’

DEVELOPERS behind the Merrow Hotel and Spa proposal have reaffirmed their commitment to the project.
Vivienne Gilholm, Director of C&V Developments, said a re-submitted planing application was at an advanced stage.
“We have encountered setbacks along the way, but we still believe this is a special project that will bring so much to the Causeway area and we’re committed to making it a reality so it can be enjoyed by locals and visitors from around the world.
“We have made great progress with the application and are pleased to have received positive responses from all statutory consultees. Therefore the council planning department will soon be in a position to make their recommendation to the planning committee.”
Plans for the hotel next to the NW200 paddock were first lodged in 2016.
