The Briggs Equipment North West 200’s most successful competitor, 29 times race winner, Alastair Seeley, will return to action in the Supersport class at the 2026 event on May 4-9 aboard a Binch Pro Racing Ducati supported by 3B Construction.

The 46-year-old returned to action on the north coast last year after being forced to sit out the 2024 event when he failed to secure competitive machinery.

Although he claimed a podium finish in the Merrow Hotel Superbike race on the Nicholl Oils/SMS BMW, Seeley says he still wants another chance at achieving a landmark 30th victory around the famous 8.9 mile Triangle course.

Seeley’s last North West wins came in 2023 when he secured a Superstock double on a Synetiq BMW but 13 of the Carrickfergus rider’s 29 victories have come in the Supersport class and he says he is as ‘hungry as ever’ for more success.

“I had thought it would be good to equal my race number 34- but 30 is a nice round number so we will go for that,” he smiled.

Seeley is no stranger to the Binch Racing squad, having finished sixth with the team in the 2024 British Supersport championship on a R6 Yamaha.

The relationship continued last season when the Carrickfergus racer acted as a mentor to the team’s two young riders, Joe Talbot and Oliver Barr.
