A NIGHT of top flight Hot Rod, Stock Car and Banger racing is set to thrill the fans at Aghadowey Oval on Saturday night, October 11, with two Irish Championship deciders headlining the programme.
Topping the bill is the Irish Championship for the exciting 1600 Rookie Bangers, a formula which has seen grids of over 30 cars for most of its 2025 meetings.
With the Irish title up for grabs another bumper turnout is expected, with Garvagh's Stephen Boyd starting from pole position on points scored across the 2025 season.
Ballymoney ace Steven Bolton lines up alongside, with defending champion John Goligher of Limavady perfectly poised on row two.
John's two sons, World Champion Lucas and Josh, will be keen to get in on the action too and are more than capable of lifting the title.
The action is sure to come thick and fast!
The young 6-11 year old Ninja Karts stars of the future also contest their Irish Championship, which should be a fantastic race with so little between so many of the drivers.
County Armagh duo Ollie Williamson and Jack Murphy share the front row ahead of Jaxon Cairns, Cahan Bradley and Rowdy Grattan.
The young aces can put on some superb side by side racing and it is sure to be a keenly contested contest.
Recently crowned World Champion Steven Haugh from Portadown will show off his gold roof for the first time in the Superstox.
The bumpers are always put to good use to edge the opposition wide, which leads to exciting racing on track.
British, Irish and International Cup Champion Jordan Robinson will be another to watch as he aims for victory, alongside Jamie McCann, Paddy Murphy and Gerard Hartley to name a few.
The 2.0 Hot Rods will provide the high-speed action of the meeting, and they are a sight to behold under the floodlights.
British Champion Conor Hughes, NI Points Champion Jordan Rochford, Andy Best and James McKinney are always right to the fore.
Callum Doak, Jake Devlin, Chris Hamill, Shane McMillan and local man Aaron Stewart will be others chasing the chequered flag.
The Thunder Rods always produce great entertainment at their home circuit of Aghadowey.
On the last night of their points season Ballymena's James Goldie will be hoping to secure the NI Points Championship and the William Bradley Perpetual Cup.
The action is always close and competitive in the formula which is dominated by the Vauxhall Astra, with others to watch including recent final winner Liam Wilson from Limavady, Ballycastle's Andrew McLean, Coleraine's Mark McLaughlin and Rasharkin star Jason Darragh.
The first race blasts off the Aghadowey Stadium grid at 6.30pm.
