THE heartbroken wife of "a doting daddy" whose life was cruelly cut short by a road accident in February has spoken of her hopes of helping others cope with the loss of a loved one.

Just weeks after her 33-year-old husband Johnny Scott was fatally injured between Coleraine and Articlave, mum-of-two Lisa Scott is penning a personal diary documenting her grief.

Lisa hopes that by sharing her heartache, through her Facebook blog 'Life Without You', she can help others struggling to come to terms with losing their soulmate.

She told The Chronicle: "It's still early days but in the future, when the boys are older, I would like to go to college and train to be a counsellor.

"It's six weeks since Johnny's death but I am still on the waiting list for counselling; I just want to be able to give people, like me, hope and be there for them, if they want to talk."
