Mark Sidebottom, Michael Murphy, Orla Bannon and Philly McMahon are part of BBC Sport NI’s team covering this year’s GAA Ulster Football Championship

EIGHT time All-Ireland winner with Dublin, Philly McMahon, and Michael Murphy, who captained Donegal to Sam Maguire, will join Oisín McConville and Mickey Harte for BBC Sport’s coverage of the 2023 Ulster Senior Football Championship.
The programmes will be presented by Mark Sidebottom, who has more than 20 years of experience leading the BBC’s GAA reporting, and Sarah Mulkerrins, who will be fronting the coverage for the first time.
The Athenry native has presented TV and radio for network BBC Sport for the past 12 years and has covered some of the world’s biggest sporting events including the Olympics, golf majors and the World Cup.
Oisín McConville and Mickey Harte were central to Ulster counties’ success in the noughties with All-Ireland wins for Armagh and Tyrone respectively.
They are now experiencing success as managers at county level with Oisín McConville leading Wicklow to promotion in the Allianz National League and Mickey Harte managing Louth to a Division 2 league final.
The games will be broadcast on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two NI with highlights for every game available on the BBC Sport website.
The live action began last Saturday (April 8) on BBC iPlayer and BBC Two Northern Ireland with Antrim’s trip to Armagh in the Ulster Championship preliminary round.
The Ulster Senior Football Championship Final will be broadcast live on BBC Sounds, BBC Radio Ulster and BBC Radio Foyle on Sunday May 14.
Thomas Niblock and Oisín McConville will also cover all the big talking points from the Ulster Senior Football Championship on the award-winning GAA Social podcast which is available via BBC Sounds.
