Final pre-split fixtures take place this weekend

The split fixture schedule formula for the final five rounds of the season has been locked in for both the Sports Direct Premiership and the Playr-Fit Championship.

 

Following Matchday 33 in both the Sports Direct Premiership and the Playr-Fit Championship, clubs will enter the decisive phase of the campaign, with teams split into two sections for the final five fixtures of the season.

 

There is still everything to play for across both the Sports Direct Premiership and the Playr-Fit Championship, with major prizes and survival at stake in the closing weeks of the season.

 

Clubs will be competing for:

 

The Gibson Cup

Automatic European qualification

Places in the BetMcLean European Play-Offs

Automatic relegation survival

Promotion and Relegation Play-Off positions

 

The final five rounds promise an unmissable run-in across March and April.

 

Venues for the post-split fixtures will be determined based on the previous meetings between clubs during the initial 33 matches of the season.

 

The finalised split fixtures for the Sports Direct Premiership will be confirmed on Saturday 21 March 2026, following the conclusion of Cliftonville v Ballymena United.

 

Fixtures for the Playr-Fit Championship split will also be confirmed on the evening of Saturday 21 March 2026.
