The Seahawks travelled to Darragh Park on Tuesday evening to face Dergview and, despite giving themselves an uphill climb, came away with a hard-earned point.

It certainly wasn't the ideal first-half for The Seahawks, in the final few moments of the opening 45', The Derg's scored back-to-back goals in quick succession - Corey McLuaghlin on the 45th and Dylan MacGivan on the restart. Leaving Portstewart a lot to think about before coming back out after the break.

But the tide began to shift just after the hour when Jacob Bond netted, and 10 minutes from time, player/coach David McDaid secured the equaliser after a free kick that soared into the top corner of Leannan McCann late into the evening - allowing a share of the spoils for both sides.

But, it's straight back into action on Saturday for Portstewart, welcoming bottom of the league Banbridge Town to the Port. All eyes will be on the three points for Portstewart to keep climbing the table to ensure that they find themselves in the top half going into the split. The results have been mixed throughout, with six wins, four losses and six draws.

For the visitors on Saturday, in terms of the League, it was over from the start. The Town were doomed after being deducted 12 points at the start of the season for a breach of Rule 41(b) and 42(a) of the NIFL Premier Intermediate League Rules, alongside the fact that they haven't won a single game, drawing 1 and losing 16 of their outings.
