The eagerly anticipated Irish Cup quarter-final tie between Coleraine and Limavady United will take place at the Coleraine Showgrounds, it has been confirmed.

The north west neighbours will meet at the Ballycastle Road venue next Saturday (March 7), kick-off 3pm.

The Roesiders were drawn out of the hat first, handing them home advantage, but with ongoing improvements to their ground continuing it has been agreed to play the game in Coleraine.

Paul Owens' side, of course, have been playing their 'home' games over the mountain and famously recorded an historic victory over Linfield at Coleraine in the previous round of the competition.

After agreement between the two clubs, ticket prices have been set as follows and are currently on sale.

  • Adults – £15
  • Concessions (065 & U18) – £10
  • 12 and under – £3

Coleraine supporters will use the normal sections of the stadium including half of the Jack Doherty Main Stand, the Railway End and uncovered terrace.

Meanwhile, Limavady United fans will take the normal ‘away’ accommodation of the Main Stand and Ballycastle Road terrace.
