THE Irish Cup campaign continues tonight in the Coleraine Showgrounds where Limavady United host Linfield FC in the sixth round.

The top of the Championship side host The Blues at 7:45pm in the next round - Limavady comfortably moved into the sixth round after a 4-1 over Lisburn Rangers, while Linfield bested fellow Premiership side Bangor FC 1-0.

In their Leagues, both teams have momentum behind them that they can carry into tonight's contest. Limavady edged past Warrenpoint on Saturday after John Butcher gave Limavady the victory after succeeding on a penalty.

While Linfield defeated Ballymena United 2-1 from a Matthew Yates goal, and Kyle McClean’s header was superbly cleared off the line by Daithi McCallion, but the ball rebounded off Shane McEleney and spun into the net to secure the late win.

The pair are the first of eight Irish Cup fixtures this weekend and will have to wait with baited breath to find out their next fixture after tomorrow's matches get underway. Saturday's fixtures are:

  • Carrick Rangers vs Coleraine
  • Cliftonville vs Glenavon
  • Glentoran vs Drumaness
  • H&W Welders vs Ballymacash
  • Loughgall vs Institute
  • Portadown vs Dungannon
  • Warrenpoint vs Larne
