Coleraine will play Glentoran in the semi-finals of the Bet McLean Cup at the end of January following Tuesday night's quarter-finals.
The Bannsiders defeated Moyola Park 2-0 at Mill Meadow whilst the Glens accounted for Cliftonville on penalties after the game finished 1-1 after extra-time.
In the other games, Ballymena United defeated Larne 2-0 at the Showgrounds whilst Newry City went down 2-3 at home to Linfield.
Bannsiders boss Ruaidhri Higgins rang the changes for his club's visit to the Premier Intermediate League leaders.
The raft of changes appeared to upset the rhythm of the Premier League high-flyers in the early stages against Marty Smith's men.
But they edged in front midway through the opening half when Alex Watson got on the end of a Cameron Stewart through ball to score from a difficult angle.
And the win was secured after half-time when man of the match Will Patching rifled an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net from just outside the penalty area.
The home side stuck to their task throughout the 90 minutes but bow out of a competition they enhanced with a number of impressive results, including dumping Dungannon Swifts out of the competition in an earlier round.
At the Oval, Eric McWoods fired visitors Cliftonville in front before Jordan Jenkins levelled for the east Belfast club.
With no further scores in extra-time the game went down to a penalty shoot-out, Shea Gordon seeing his effort saved as Glentoran go through 5-4 on spot-kicks.
In the one remaining tie, David Healy's Linfield were given a scare by their hosts Newry City before two goals from Calumn Morrison saw them through 3-2.
The semi-finals sees Coleraine travel to take on Glentoran with Linfield hosting Ballymena United at Windsor Park.
