BALLYMENA and PROVINCIAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE
AFTER the poor weather of rain and snow on Wednesday and Thursday we were fortunate to only lose two game over all competitions on Saturday.
Hopefully, the weather will be kind on Saturday December 6 and December 13 before the Christmas break.
LEAGUE
DIVISION ONE
BELFAST CELTIC 2 , WELLINGTON REC 5
Celtic went in front after James Doyle scored on the 17th minute before Scott Gault scored a brace for the Rec on the 20th and 33rd minutes. Celtic got back level after Riley Williams scored on the 47th minute only see Lewis Harrison score for the Rec 50th and Kyle Robinson 61st and 83rd minutes.

NEWTOWNE 2 , St JAMES SWIFTS 2
In a close game Newtowne went in front after Daniel Boyle scored on the 47th minute then were two up after Tony Mullan scored on the 59th minute. The Swifts got a goal back after Ciaran Hyland scored on the 62nd minute followed by Eugene Gallagher scoring the equaliser on the 87th minute. Newtowne had a man set off on the 80th minute and Swifts had a man sent from the dugout on the 52nd minute.

HEIGHTS 4 , TOBERMORE UNITED 0
Heights led by two goals scored by Mark Edgar 5th and Jake Francis 10th minutes at half-time Heights went on to score two more goals through Lee Forgrave 78th and an own goal 90th minutes. Tobermore also had a man sent off on the 62nd minute.

DIVISION TWO
DRAPERSTOWN CELTIC 0 , CHIMNEY CORNER 3
The Croner went ahead after Adam Walker scored on the 17th minute then an own goal on the 51st minutes saw the Corner clear. Celtic tried hard to get back into the game, but the Corner held firm sealing the win when Adam Wallker scored huis second goal on the 94th minute.

INSPIRED TALENTS 1 , MAGHERAFELT SKY BLUES 3
Sky Blues went in front after Michael McKay scored on the 6th minute then doubled their advantage after John Young scored on the 12th minute. Inspired hit back with Ajiroghene Oyibo scoring on the 25th minute. No more goals were scored after this until Odhran Madden scored a Third for Sky Blues on the 94th minute.

BRANTWOOD 4 , RATHCOOLE 1
The Brants went Two goals ahead scored by Jack Rainey on the 25th and 55th minutes. The Brants got another Brace of goals scored by Garet McCauley on the 82nnd and 85th minutes. To their credit Rathcoole never gave up getting a goal scored by James Muphy on the 85th minutes.

DONEGAL CETLIC 1 , MAIDEN CITY 1
Both teams played it very tight from the start with the fist goal being scored on the 17th minute by Neil Cummings putting Celtic ahead on the 17th minute. City got back on level terms after Ben Smith scored on the 61st minute to give the teams a share of the points at the end. Referee Mr Philip Caulfield
