A big fixture lies ahead for Coleraine on Saturday afternoon as Dungannon Swifts make the trip to The Showgrounds.

Both sides enjoyed success last weekend as Coleraine defeated  Ballymena United 3-1, and Dungannon mounting a stunning second-half comeback against Glentoran to win 3-1.

A configuration change will also be tested on Saturday. The Hillman’s Way terrace behind the goal has traditionally been reserved for away support, but as home attendances continue to grow, the club is seeking to maximise capacity.

Away fans will now be allocated a section of the Jack Doherty Grandstand. Both sets of supporters have been asked to enter the ground via the main gate on Ballycastle Road, with access to the Social Club available for all.

Saturday's win over Ballymena puts Coleraine top of the table with a two-point lead over the Glens. Coleraine boss Ruaidhri Higgins spoke ahead of Saturday's match: “We have to move on really quickly, we have a real tough game against a team in top form.

We have to move on, enjoy it - but move on quickly."

In other news at The Showgrounds, striker Matthew Shevlin made his 300th League appearance over the weekend. His two goals against United took his tally to 98 for Coleraine - edging him two steps closer to the 100-goal milestone.

“It was nice to add to it, I’m hoping that I can get it sooner rather than later, but it doesn’t really mean much. I’m just wanting us to kick on and really put a run together.”

Looking ahead to Saturday's match, Shevlin expects another tough test and added: “Dungannon are a great side, we know that from last season so we know what they’re capable of."
