Coleraine are back on the road again this weekend - all week, in fact, with three trips in seven days - as they look to build on last week's defeat of Carrick Rangers.

The Bannsiders visit Bangor on Saturday and follow that up with a midweek trip to Dollingstown in the Bet McLean Cup and a first derby meeting of the season at Ballymena United next weekend.

It's a tough ask but assistant coach Kevin Deery maintains it's a case of continuing to do the things which has seen the team get its season off to an encouraging start.

"The games we're looking at - against a newly promoted team in Bangor and Dollingstown in the League Cup - they're games that we really have to find the motivation to go and get the job done," he said at Thursday's press conference.

"But we've shown with our record in the early stages of the season that we can go away to tough venues and come out on top and that's our message.

"We don't want to stray too far from what we're doing in terms of our style of play. We want to stick to our principles, passing and dominating games, so we're not moving away from that.

"We know that, mentally, we have to be really sharp and focused and professional to go and get the jobs done," he added.

Bangor have enjoyed an encouraging start on their return to the top flight under Lee Feeney and have picked up a number of eye-catching wins.

"They beat Portadown 4-1, who are going really well, and they beat Cliftonville," continued Deery.

"We watched the game against Linfield and we know that Linfield are deadly, scoring goals. Bar that, though, it was a real tight game. Bangor were well in the game so we're under no illusions.

"You get the exact same three points for beating Bangor away as you will for beating any other team so we don't take anything lightly. We go week to week and we're going to Bangor to try and get three points

"The one thing I would say about Bangor is that they're playing a really good brand of football since they came up. They're not like trying to stay in games, or holding on, they're passing the ball a lot more and trying to be far more creative in their approach which I appreciate myself as a coach.

"It's good to see them playing in the right style and I'm sure Lee will know how to set his team up against us.

"But, we have players who can score in big moments and we're going there for the win."
