COLERAINE Football Club has welcomed a new financial supporter to the club.
Local property investor Henry Ross, 24, is believed to be among the youngest owners of a football club in world football.
His involvement adds to the club’s growing investment portfolio which includes current owners Ranald McGregor-Smith and Patrick Mitchell.
"Growing up in the local area, I’m thrilled to have the chance to contribute to the club," said Henry.
"Even at this early stage I’ve met incredible people and immediately connected with the values of the co-owners. It was a no-brainer for me.
"Football clubs are complex, with countless variables at play. With Coleraine’s transition to professional football it’s a fascinating journey, full of challenges, but I love being part of it.
"I enjoy watching the team play - whether it’s a sold-out home game or a Tuesday night away win in Ballinamallard," he added.
The 24-year-old's involvement has been welcomed by Coleraine FC chief executive Simon Magee.
"Henry’s passion for Coleraine FC is clear and we are thrilled to welcome him into the Coleraine family," he said.
"His involvement will be instrumental as we build on our rich heritage and pursue excellence."
According to a club spokesperson, the new partnership reflects Coleraine FC’s strategic vision of engaging local talent and community support, driving progress in all aspects of the club.
"Coleraine FC aims to strengthen key areas such as player development, facility upgrades and youth programmes - all essential for nurturing the next generation of Coleraine talent," said the spokesperson.
"The club is eager to embark on this new chapter with Henry and encourages fans and supporters to join us in extending a warm welcome.
"Together, we are committed to making Coleraine FC a lasting source of pride for our community."
