JOSH Carson has signed a two year deal with Coleraine's derby rivals Ballymena United.
The midfielder, a mainstay of the Bannsiders' team over the past five seasons, completed his move on Tuesday after being placed on the transfer list at Coleraine.
It's believed the former NI international couldn't agree terms with the Ballycastle Road outfit as they progress to a full-time model.
Coleraine's loss is Ballymena's gain, however, as Braid boss Jim Ervin moved quickly to snap up the one-time Ipswich Town player amid interest from several other Premiership clubs.
