BALLYMENA and PROVINCIAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE
FOUR Intermediate League teams Chimney Corner, Wakehurst, Ballymoney United and Donegal Celtic progress to the third round of the IFA Intermediate Cup.
Chimney Corner were in front in their game but the other three teams had to come from behind to win their games.
Yes, there were celebrations at Allen Park when the Corner defeated the Current PIL League leaders on Penalties.
Ballymoney United are competing in the Irish Cup this coming Saturday and a win will see them join the senior clubs in the fifth round draw.
INTERMEDIATE LEAGUE
BELFAST CELTIC 2, GLEBE RANGERS 1
Celtic got off to a good start when Darren Murray scored on the second minute this being followed by a second goal scored by Brendan Glackin on the 19th minute.
Glebe got a goal back in the 22nd minute when keeper Glenn McMullan scored for his own penalty box with the ball deceiving the Celtic keeper on its way into the net.
No more goals were scored after this then Celtic had a man sent off on the 90th minute.

BALLYNURE OB 4, DESERTMARTIN 1
Ballynure went in front after Alexander Crawford scored on the 22nd minute then Mark Leckey made it 2-0 on the 29th minute.
The Martins got a goal back after Michael Stewart converted a penalty on the 43rd minute.
Ballynure got two more goals with Alexander Crawford completing his hat-trick with goals on the 62nd and 91st minutes.

St JAMES SWIFTS 3, DUNLOY 0
St James went in front after Ciaran Rooney scored on the 12th minute then doubled their advantage when John Savage cored on the 32nd minute.
Time was almost up when Eugene Gallagher scored number three for the Swifts on the 92nd minute.

IFA INTERMEDIATE CUP, SECOND ROUND
CHIMNEY CORNER 2 , BALLYMACASH RANGERS 2 (AET)
CHIMNEY CORNER WIN 4-2 ON PENALTIES
The Corner were up against the PIL League leaders and were level 0-0 at half-time.
The Corner went in front after Ryan Worthington scored on the 61st minute and held this lead until the visitors equalised on the 91st minute.
The Rangers went in front on the 97th minute then on the 108th minute Reece Gilmour converted a penalty for the Corner taking the game to penalties.
The Corner keeper Nathan Kerr saved two of the Rangers penalties leaving the Corner who scored four though to the next Round.
PORTSTEWART 2, COAGH UNITED 1
Portstewart went in front after Glenn Law scored on the 19th minute to lead at half-time.
Coagh got back level after Aaron Campbell scored on the 53rd minute.
Coagh then had a an sent off on the 71st minute and this cost them dear with Jonathan Hayes scoring the winner for the Ports on the 84th minute.
18th NEWTOWNABBEY OB 1,DONEGAL CELTIC 2
In front of a large crowd the home side went in front after Corey Houston scored on the 50th minute.
Celtic were back level after and own goal on the 53rd minute setting the tie up for a tight finish.
Celtic got what proved to be the winning goal when James Mullan scored on the 70th minute.
WELLINGTON REC 1, RATHFRILAND RANGERS 4
The Rangers - last season’S winners - went in front after Ruari Fitzpatrick scored on the 17th mute then doubled their lead when Andy Wilson scored on the 21st minute.
Two more goal scored by Johneen Black (penalty) on 67th minute and Jordan Hayes 84th minute saw the visitors in control though the Rec never gave up pulling a goal back when Jonathan McManus scored on the 90th minute.
WAKEHURST 7, LAURELVALE 2
The Vale got off to a quick start with Brendan McMullan scoring on the sixth minute then getting a second goal after Mark Whitten converted a penalty on the13th minute.
Wakehurst got a goal back after Andrew Laughlin scored on the 18th minute followed by Glenn Vance scoring on the 30th minute.
Andrew Laughlin scored his second goal on the 50th minute followed by Glenn Vance completing his hat-trick with goal on the 67th and 80th minutes.
Wakehurst went on to score two more goals through Matthew Carroll 85th and Darren Kidd on the 90th minutes.
BRANTWOOD 1, BANDBRIGE TOWN 2 (aet)
An own goal conceded by the Town on the 39th minute saw Brantwood take the lead.
The Town came back to level the game after Conor Downey scored on the 74th minute.
No more goals were scored in normal time then on the 105th minute Stephen McCavitt scored the winner for the Town.
DOWNSHIRE 2, BALLYMONEY UNITED 5
The home side went clear after James Dillon scored on the fifth minute.
Mark Dempsey then equalised for Ballymoney on the 21st minutes.
Luke Taylor put Ballymoney ahead on the 31st minute followed by Gerald Gillen scoring on the 36th minute and Lewis Magee on the 53rd minute.
As time was running down Nathan Doak converted a penalty for the home side on the 84th minute only to see Josh Rohdich scored number five for Ballymoney on the 85th minute.
