Football fans donate over £1,000 on Friday evening in aid of Brainwaves NI

A bucket collection was held at the Coleraine Showgrounds on Friday night in memory of the late Ricky Peoples, with proceeds going to Brainwaves NI.

Donations were collected during the Coleraine FC vs Glentoran match, where fans from both Premiership clubs generously contributed a total of £1,076.61 for Northern Ireland's only volunteer led brain tumours research and support charity.

Andrea Peoples expressed her gratitude to everyone who donated, saying: "We had an amazing response. Everyone was so kind and generous, and it’s quite overwhelming. We are so thankful to all the fans who donated so generously."
