Get on track for a trip back in time with the Derry Central Railway

A TALK on the Derry Central Railway will take place in the 2nd Kilrea Presbyterian Church Hall this Tuesday afternoon (September 16).
The Friendship Group in Kilrea is holding the event at 2.30pm for all railway enthusiasts and those who would just to like to find out more about this fascinting subject..
“We begin with a beautiful afternoon tea, a chance to enjoy good company and conversation,” said organier Pearl Hutchinson.
“Then, Ian Davidson from Garvagh Museum, will take us on a nostalgic journey along the Derry Central Railway.
“Through a wonderful collection of slides, we will pause at each station along the line and relive the charm of the steam era through the countryside, the trains and the atmosphere of a bygone time.
“Come along for an afternoon of friendship, memories, and a touch of railway magic.”
