LEADING older people’s charity, Age NI, is urgently calling on the people of Coleraine to consider volunteering at their Coleraine store.

The charity, which provides a range of care, advice and support to older people across Northern Ireland, urgently requires new volunteers to help with the smooth running of the Railway Road shop.

Local people are invited along to a Volunteer Open Day this Monday, May 20 between 10am -2pm, to find out more about the volunteer opportunities, meet the team, and enjoy a hot drink and bun.

Helen McWilliams, Age NI Coleraine Shop Manager, said: “This is a really good opportunity to find out more about the volunteering opportunities on offer, as well as meet our team and browse some of the bargains on offer.

“Whether you can give a few hours, or more of your time, it all counts, and really makes a difference. In return, you’ll have fun, learn new skills, boost your CV and maybe even make new friends.”

There’s no need to register in advance, just pop in on the day and speak to the Store Manager, Helen McWilliams and Age NI’s Volunteer Co-Ordinator Katie Johnson.

For more information, call 028 70351139 or email Katie on volunteering@ageni.org
