A PORTRUSH man, who terrorised and attacked a blind woman in her own home twice in 24 hours, has been jailed for seven months.
North Antrim Magistrates, sitting in Coleraine, yesterday (Monday) heard how Paul Patterson, of Windsor Place, had lashed out at a female relative after she provided him with a bail address.
Violence flared on January 21 this year when 27-year-old Patterson confronted his victim in her home. He demanded £100 and shouted aggressively before grabbing her, pushing her on to a bed, causing bruising to her arm.
The next day Patterson returned to the property and threatened to throw the woman's television through the window and “push her against the wall” if she didn't hand over the money.
