ROAD racer Gary Dunlop has revealed that the Road Racers versus Short Circuit Racers charity football match will be named in honour of William Dunlop.

While no date has been set for the match, Gary has confirmed it will take place at Seaview, home of north Belfast club Crusaders in January.

To date, the annual charity game has raised over £20,000 for the Children's Cancer Unit at Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital.

However, in a departure this year, proceeds from the game will be split with William Dunlop's young family to provide support for their future.

William's partner Janine gave birth to the couple's second daughter, Willa, in September, two months after William's untimely passing.
