BRITISH Superbike star Glenn Irwin has paid his own personal tribute to William Dunlop following his success at last weekend's Sunflower Trophy races.
Irwin, who won both Supertwin races at Bishopscourt, donated his prizemoney from the event to William's partner Janine and the couple's children Ella and Willa.
With the help of sponsors and other generous benefactors, the 28-year-old Carrickfergus rider was able to present £4,000 to Janine.
"William was a great guy and it is not nice to lose any racer so I want to try and do as much as I can to help William's family," said Irwin.
"If I can do more to help again than I am more than happy to help."
The Sunflower Trophy traditionally marks the end of the racing season and attracted some of the sport's leading riders to the county Down venue.
