NEWLY crowned Dickies Junior Supersport champion Eunan McGlinchey is sure to receive a hero's welcome when he returns to race on home soil this weekend.

The 20-year-old, fresh from securing the championship at Brands Hatch last weekend, will ride for the McAdoo Racing team at the Sunflower meeting at Bishopscourt.

McGlinchey made sure of the title at the weekend with a third place finish and a win, securing an emotional victory for the Cork-based Team 109.

"It feels great to be the first ever champion in this class," said Eunan.

"It has been an amazing year and to be the first person to have their name on the trophy is a special feeling."
