COLERAINE FC are back in action this weekend in front of the television cameras when they make the trip to North Wales to take on Connahs Quay Nomads.

The game will be broadcast live on television and fans unable to make the trip will also be able to watch the game online and via Facebook Live.

Welsh broadcaster S4C will be showing the match live, with flagship football series Sgorio providing coverage. The programme gets underway from 7.25pm on Saturday night, with English commentary available. The match will also be available to watch on the Sgorio Facebook Live page and live via S4C’s on demand service, Clic.

The Bannsiders have endured a difficult run of late and after a heavy 4-1 defeat last weekend at the hands of Glenavon, Coleraine have slipped down to fifth place in the Danske Bank Premiership, rounding off a run of 4 draws in a row.

Saturday's encounter in Wales presents the perfect platform for Rodney McAree's men to get back to winning ways and test themselves against unfamiliar opposition.

Connahs Quay will present a tough challenge for the Stripes and although the visitors emerge as favorites ahead of the tie, the home side find themselves sitting top of the JD Welsh Premier League with 2 point cushion over T.N.S in second. The Nomads, who are managed by former Manchester City skipper Andy Morrison, sealed their progess to the third round with a hard-earned 1-0 victory at Scottish Championship outfit, Falkirk.
