MLA Maurice Bradley says he is hopeful Coleraine will benefit from an independent review of courses at all three Ulster University campuses.

Mr Bradley was speaking after a meeting with Vice Chancellor Professor Paddy Nixon during which he raised concerns over the “drip feed” of courses lost from the Coleraine campus.

“I believe that our campus here in Coleraine has massive potential,” said Mr Bradley.

But he added: “It is being underutilised and the continual drip feed of courses to Magee and Belfast is still a major concern for me, “said Bradley.

It's understood the review has been prompted by uncertainty surrounding Brexit and the collapse of Stormont.
