Coleraine midfielder Darren McCauley celebrates after his low cross forced Linfield defender Matthew Clarke to concede an own-goal in the Bannsiders' 2-1 win at the National Stadium.
COLERAINE manager Rodney McAree admits it's all about taking one game at a time after guiding the club to a deserved win over Linfield at the National Stadium at the weekend.
The 2-1 win over the Blues was a second successive away victory for the Bannsiders and means they close the gap on the sides above them to a more manageable level.
And with Glentoran visiting the Showgrounds this Saturday, McAree is aiming to make it a hat-trick of successes for the first time.
"We challenged the players to go to Windsor Park and win and to not be content coming here and getting a point," said Rodney.
"It was all about getting the win and trying to get ourselves closer to the top of the table.
"It's about taking one game at a time but I've been seeing improvements over the last few weeks," he added.
The Glens, meanwhile, are in Bet McLean League Cup action against Crusaders on Tuesday evening after having defeated Coleraine in the previous round.
