RODNEY McAree admitted a bit of quality in the final third of the pitch was pivotal to his second win as Coleraine manager on Saturday.

Two goals from former 'Stute midfielder Darren McAuley earned the visitors a precious three points at the new-look Brandywell Stadium.

"It was a tight game but I felt we produced that little bit more quality in the final third which got us over the line," he said afterwards.

"We had big performances all over the pitch which was fantastic and Darren McCauley was very good.

"We are delighted with the three points - it gives us something to build on and a little bit of a lift," he added.

This Saturday, Coleraine travel to the National Stadium to face Linfield.
