FORMER Coleraine manager Oran Kearney will be given time - and money - to change around the fortunes of Scottish Premiership club St. Mirren.

The Ballymoney man has yet to win a game in charge at The Buddies, one draw and seven defeats his record to date.

However, speaking on Monday, the club's chief executive Tony Fitzpatrick, pledged to support his man.

"He's not had the best of results yet, but it's not just about that," he said.

"We've got a long-term plan here.

"The fans love Oran, he engages with them and he's going to be a top young manager.

"There will be money available for Oran," he added.
